F5, Inc. seeks Software Engineer III in San Jose, CA:
Job Duties: Design and implement F5 software product related to Access Management. Contribute to control and data plane development of BIG-IP Next Access. Implement APIs and configurations to streamline operations. Worked on migration of several functionalities from Core BIG-IP to BIG-IP Next. Improve performance through automation. Document software designs via functional specifications and other design documents. Contribute to software design discussions and research to enhance existing products or new product directions. Utilize C++, Python as well as knowledge of networking and web technologies and designing, developing, and debugging software to perform these duties. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and three (3) months of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Networking; (2) C; (3) C++; (4) Python; (5) Shell script; (6) AWS; (7) Windows Development; (8) Linux Development; (9) Developing and debugging software; (10) OOP and Design Patterns; (11) Software Testing; and (12) SSL/TLS certificates. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $172,931.00 - $192,149.00 per annum.
