Position Summary 

The Compensation Analyst role supports in crafting, planning and implementing compensation programs, policies and procedures. Serves as a key team member to partner with managers and HR team members across the organization for compensation. This role will recommend solutions to drive the corporate compensation philosophy and support industry best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conducts compensation analysis and market pricing of roles to proactively ensure competitive pay

  • Ensure job development follows career framework/architecture including the development of job descriptions

  • Evaluates new job requests to identify alignment with existing jobs or determine need for new job including a review of existing structure as well as a market analysis and determination of FLSA status

  • Oversight of market reference points aligned to roles supporting annual review process

  • Participates in salary surveys and analyzes results to determine organization’s market relationship including administration of compensation systems and tools

  • Assists in the development of Workday set up and analysis of data for compensation including oversight of the annual merit process

  • Supports with variable compensation calculation, processing and payroll submission

  • Conduct benchmarking analysis and develop recommendations

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Partners to provide guidance and make recommendations on salary and compensation components

  • Interpret local, state and federal laws regulating compensation practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with compensation, classification and salary systems

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills and Qualifications 

  • 1+ years of experience with Workday HR Management System

The expected salary range for this position is between:

$74,100.00 - $88,700.00

The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
