Currently we're looking for a talented individual who will drive and contribute within and across product teams for the technical solution design, implementation and continuous improvement of Vaccines MES and Vaccines Manufacturing systems in alignment with Agile and DevOps principles, working closely with Architects, Product Owners, and Product Managers.

Product Owner & Products Management - Vx Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of product engineers, and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) developers to bring the right solutions forward covering the prioritized business needs
  • Collaborate with Tech product owners and Portfolio leads to deliver technology solutions in alignment with Smart Manufacturing ambitions for GSK
  • Coordinate project planning & resourcing, cost management, problem solving and communication
  • Contribute to release planning and roadmaps, developing plans based on business priorities and business cases, and working closely with Product Owners and Product Director and Technical Architecture team
  • Provide leadership, technical direction and GSK expertise to product teams composed of GSK FTEs, strategic partners and software vendors
  • Design and deliver the optimal set of products and services which meets the business strategy and requirements.
  • Be accountable for partial execution of the Manufacturing product roadmap. Help drive process improvements and root cause analysis in partnership with business function to improve overall performance
  • Keep relevant technical documentation up to date in support of the lifecycle plan for audits/reviews.
  • Pro-actively engage in experimentation and innovation to drive relentless improvement e.g. to UX/DQ/DI and reduce technical debt/risk

Why You?

Necessary skills:

  • Master's Degree in Business & Information Technology or Equivalent
  • Considerable experience in technical project implementation, roll-out, and support in manufacturing setup. Relevant platform experience includes but not limited to MES (Siemens OpCenter), SAP manufacturing
  • Experience leading technology teams, in a matrixed environment
  • Experience of building relationships, agreeing and holding external service partners to account while operating in a fast-paced business critical environment Attention to detail. Ability to demonstrate a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines

Preferred Skills (although not a must):

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) and with data transformation and visualization tools
  • Experience working in manufacturing environment with Good Manufacturing Practices and GxP environment
