Responsibilities:

The Associate will be responsible for managing FP&A for specific regions and departments within Tishman Speyer and working on the following with regards to their coverage:

  • Work on detailed expense projections to support new acquisitions and development efforts in your assigned regions.

  • Work on developing and updating forecasting models with focus on financial analytics to understand and explain trends and variances.

  • Work on preparing written memos, reports, analyses and presentations for senior management surrounding key business drivers, trends, variance analyses and performance indicators.

  • Together with Region, business, and Department Heads, work on annual region, business and department reviews.

  • Work on Global quarterly reforecast and annual budget process, which includes upfront analysis and setup as well as ongoing analysis and reporting throughout the process.

  • Work on Global monthly management reporting including ad-hoc analysis.

  • Work on value-add reporting, which includes ad-hoc analyses on expense, revenue, and profitability as well as ad-hoc projections of new business ventures.

  • Work with technology to create efficiencies and strategic solutions to solve for new challenges.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ability to collaborate with a broad range of regions and departments at all levels.

  • Develop an understanding of TS business and how it operates in all regions including new businesses and regions as they develop.

  • Develop an understanding of Corporate Finance services at TS and provide methods to improve reporting, analytics, allocations, and planning processes.

  • Develop an understanding of internally developed custom financial applications, how they integrate with each other globally and participate in ongoing analysis of potential enhancements.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools or Tableau a plus.

  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work independently.

  • Finance, accounting and real estate understanding.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

The base compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.

This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyer’s New Yor team, as we’ve considered factors specific to this geography.
