Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Property and Asset Management Analyst. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensures asset management compliance with property system procedures and processes based on government requirements and regulations (e.g. FAR 52.245-1 and DFARS 245.6, 252.245-7003 and other applicable FAR, DFARS, DoD regulation) and company polices. 
  • Knowledge of subcontracts and subcontractor sites for all assigned contracts to include on-site and limited surveys, property management system compliance, IUID requirements, coordination with subcontractors for program needs and property requirements.
  • Provides training and guidance to program employees and subcontractor sites to ensure government property compliance is maintained
  • Knowledge and experience with the disposition process for government and company owned property
  • Works with management teams within the business unit and sector to develop innovative solutions for complex processes and issues.
  • High level of interaction with both internal and external customers  
  • Maintain metrics and perform data analysis to mitigate asset business system risk, identify opportunities for improvement and plan for resource requirements.
  • Assist with internal contractor self-assessments as well as internal/external audits and reviews. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of related property/asset management experience; 3 years with a Master’s degree; or 9 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Must have experience with property management administration principles, theories and concepts as well as a working knowledge of FAR 52.245-1, 45, and DFARS 245.6, 252.245-7003 and other applicable FAR, DFARS, and DoD regulation
  • Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret/SCI/Top Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years)
  • Possesses strong communication skills when interacting with customers, DCMA and internal company personnel
  • Ability to work with diverse levels of internal/external customers, i.e., DCMA, OEM Customers
  • Certification as a Professional Property Administrator (CPPS/CPPA)
  • Subcontractor Control Experience
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Salary Range: $84,200.00 - $126,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
