Role summary: Review print and digital promotional materials for quality and to ensure they meet regulatory requirements for Europe and Asia. Check information is consistent with the tone and style of Capital Group’s communications. Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Client Group and Compliance teams on complex projects, analyses and tasks.
Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
Review materials including client presentations, brochures, digital content and other communication templates through a risk-based framework:
Copy-edit for clarity, grammar, accuracy, consistency, style and tone, and regulatory requirements.
Recommend edits based on knowledge of target audience and internal and external style guides.
Consolidate and synthesize feedback from various sources, such as Legal/Compliance, Marketing, product experts and/or business owners.
Monitor, track and incorporate all compliance-related updates to ensure materials comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Determine impact to existing materials when compliance language or rules are updated.
Understand and apply required risk language across all marketing communication channels.
Provide the business with day-to-day up-front content advice.
Involvement with the preparation and delivery of marketing communication training & resources across the business.
Recommend process improvements to streamline processes.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Skills/qualifications:
Demonstrates sound judgment in resolving matters of moderate complexity.
Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with team members and managers.
Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrates ability to prioritise assigned work and complete in a timely manner.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of language, spelling, punctuation, grammar and style guides and ability to apply it to work assignments.
High-level proficiency in English and Traditional Chinese language capabilities preferred.
Demonstrates working knowledge of financial and investment concepts, compliance issues and ability to apply it to work assignments.
Detail-oriented, with an ability to grasp broader contextual understanding.
Financial services experience with professional and/or end-investors would be preferred.
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
