Job Description Summary:
We're looking for a highly driven strategic thinker and operator to join our Risk-as-a-Service product team, focusing on the commercialization and growth of our portfolio. You will be working closely with leaders across PayPal to delight our customers and drive financial outcomes. In this dynamic role, you'll be a key player in shaping the future of payments and how merchants address the ever-evolving risk and fraud landscape.Job Description:
Your Way to Impact:
You will heavily rely on data, customer insights and industry insights to identify the growing areas of opportunity within the business and help craft and lead initiatives to address those opportunities. The ideal candidate has exceptional analytical and communication skills as well as the desire and ability to drive projects forward by influencing cross-functional leaders.
Your Day-to-Day:
Think strategically: Develop ideas on how we can scale the RaaS portfolio in the near and long term, including innovative ways to deploy our existing solutions within our merchant base, pricing strategies, as well as net new product builds
Deep dive into data: Leverage internal and external data to identify growth opportunities and craft initiatives to capture them; sales pipeline is one key data source you will reference regularly
Champion collaboration: Work alongside the head of RaaS commercial strategy to foster close partnerships with cross-functional teams like Sales, Account Management, Finance, Go-to-Market, Data Science, and more to ensure a cohesive and successful execution of new and existing initiatives
Manage advancement of opportunities: lead commercial growth initiatives end-to-end and provide targeted thought partnership and support in key deals
What You Need to Bring:
Data-driven decision making: A strong analytical mind (including data analysis) with the ability to leverage data insights to inform commercial initiatives and product direction; financial analysis experience a plus
Execution excellence: Examples of supporting and executing cross functional initiatives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
Customer obsession: A deep empathy for the needs of merchants and finding opportunities to increase the impact of what PayPal can provide them
Collaborative spirit: The ability to build strong relationships and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals; with this, a desire to roll up your sleeves and support the progression of key deals in partnership with Sales
Strategic vision: An understanding of the payments landscape and the ability to translate market trends into actionable commercial strategies
Relevant experience: A minimum of 2+ years in management consulting, corporate or commercial strategy, and/or product management
