Course Description:

Cours théorique et pratique sur l’art et la science de la plaidoirie dans les procès civils. L’accent dans ce cours sera mis sur les champs principaux de la plaidoirie qui ne sont pas traditionnellement étudié dans les cours d’art de la plaidoirie, y inclue la plaidoirie à distance. Le cours débutera par une étude de la théorie de cas et passera ensuite à l’interaction avocat-client jusqu’à la conférence préparatoire au procès et l’analyse de cas. Par la suite, l’accent sera mis sur le procès y compris les déclarations d’ouverture et de clôture, l’interrogatoire et le contre-interrogatoire des témoins, les motions, les questions de preuve et les questions tactiques et éthiques auxquelles peut être confronté l’avocat plaidant.
