We’re looking for a Sourcing Manager who thrives on building strategic partnerships, negotiating complex agreements, and driving measurable impact.In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of IT Sourcing and will play a critical role in shaping our IT procurement strategy.
About the Role
In this role as a Sourcing Manager, you will:
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with Thomson Reuters’ IT roadmap, collaborating directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver innovative sourcing solutions.
Lead negotiations and contract lifecycle management for IT software agreements (MSAs, amendments, SOWs, evaluation agreements), ensuring compliance with governance processes and leveraging our global procurement methodology.
Drive competitive sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ) for IT software categories, delivering cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
Optimize supplier relationships by identifying rationalization opportunities, reducing complexity, and improving commercial terms.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and overcoming challenges to deliver on high-impact initiatives.
Key Deliverables
High-quality sourcing documentation and supplier agreements
Risk mitigation strategies for IT sourcing projects
Measurable annual cost reductions with robust savings tracking
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Sourcing Manager if your background includes:
Procurement certification or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of IT sourcing experience, including negotiating agreements valued at $1M+
Expertise in contract negotiation and sourcing methodologies
Strong knowledge of IT marketplace trends
Analytical and project management skills with a strategic mindset
Ability to create compelling sourcing collateral (business cases, executive summaries, RFx materials)
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across functions

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For Ontario, Canada, the base compensation range for this role is $77,000 CAD - $127,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.About Us
