Job Description
Brookfield Properties has an immediate need for a Recruiter at the corporate office in Chicago, IL on our Talent Acquisition Team.
Talent Acquisition is responsible for partnering with other HR Business Partners, HR Directors and hiring managers to identify key recruiting needs and utilizing effective recruitment strategies that will attract and retain top talent. The recruiter will be responsible for the day-to-day recruitment activities and initiatives for an assigned business group.
Responsibilities
Responsible for full cycle talent recruitment, driving sourcing and recruitment activities for field roles based on our properties throughout the country (Exempt and Non-Exempt) as well as supporting corporate roles.
Cultivate and maintain ongoing strong working relationships with the other HR Business Partners and HR Directors in order to understand the business unit, workforce planning strategies, recruitment needs and to create a partnership that ensures a seamless hiring process.
Research and network with passive candidates in an effort to build a pipeline of key talent available for immediate and future needs as well as create robust sourcing strategies that will attract top talent.
Manage scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Ensure timely follow-up with candidates to provide a positive candidate experience.
Analyze recruitment trends and metrics and develop solutions and improvements when necessary.
Partner with hiring manager, compensation team and other HR Business Partners to present and negotiate candidate offers.
Provide guidance to employees on general benefit and data questions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years full cycle recruiting experience supporting a variety of corporate functions.
Agency experience a plus
Strong attention to detail
Process oriented
Strong execution and follow through.
Flexible and demonstrated ability to multitask.
Must be able to keep confidential employee and team information discrete.
