The Talent Management Program Lead is responsible for defining and implementing people and performance programs for the organization. The role will focus on program management of a specific talent or learning function. This role collaborates across the organization to create and deliver experience-based development that enables future business growth and builds critical next-generation workforce capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engagement Strategy Development: Design and execute comprehensive employee engagement strategies that align with organizational goals. Develop programs and initiatives to foster a positive work environment and strengthen employee commitment.
  • Listening Mechanisms: Implement and manage various listening tools and techniques, including surveys, focus groups, and feedback platforms. Ensure effective channels for employees to voice their opinions, concerns, and suggestions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze feedback and engagement metrics to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present reports with actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Action Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement action plans based on feedback and engagement data. Track progress and measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Communication and Training: Develop communication strategies to effectively convey engagement initiatives and outcomes to employees. Provide training and support to managers and leaders on fostering employee engagement and addressing feedback.
  • Culture and Community Building: Promote and support initiatives that build a strong organizational culture and sense of community. Encourage and facilitate employee participation in company events, volunteer opportunities, and other engagement activities.

Program Management:

  • Create a yearly program roadmap to address current business needs and anticipate future opportunities as the business evolves
  • Consult and collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct needs assessments to ensure the solution developed solves the right problem or delivers the intended business outcome
  • Design, develop, and scale "in the flow of work" experiences focused on driving specific behaviors and outcomes in the business
  • Own programs from strategy to "go to market," including communications and cross functional collaboration (inside and outside HR)
  • Develop measurement strategies for each program to show impact program has on talent and business KPIs

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in talent, organization effectiveness, and leadership development.
  • Strong experience in building and implementing a talent or learning function
  • Expertise in strategic design, development, and implementation of team/organizational effectiveness strategies.
  • Experience in driving culture change, employee experience and engagement, change management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Strong consulting skills for working with leaders at all levels.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $98,500.00.
