Job Purpose

As part of Japan Vaccine marketing team, consumer engagement manager (consumer focus/offline) leads the development and implementation of disease awareness campaign for consumers.  Actions should be in line with overall non-promotional marketing strategy and be structured with digital marketing activities.

This should be done through close collaboration with internal teams of Japan medical, communication and GAMA, regional and global teams, as well as outside media and creative agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop overall marketing plan to grow vaccine preventable disease awareness with full understanding of consumer/patient insights through consumer surveys.
  • Deliver off-line marketing activities including, but no limited to, TV, print, OOH, in-clinic, and consumer event.
  • Lead creative process to deliver the creatives for the above channels.
  • Drive external agencies and manage their governance and quality outputs.
  • Roll out monthly PDCA process.
  • Follow GSK approval processes to ensure that all non-promotional and digital contents and communications activities are compliantly executed.

  • Integrated media planning and implementation of consumer marketing campaigns using mass media including TV.
  • Initiate campaign concept development based on consumer insight, brief to agencies and create TVCM etc. with them.
  • Capability of leading PDCA with agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • A&P management to deliver the best performance within budget.
  • Collaborative workstyle both with internal and external stakeholders
  • Have a strong governance mindset to assess potential risks for the performance and ensure a solid mitigation plan and performance tracking in place.

経験 Experience

  • 5+year Experience in consumer marketing in healthcare, pharma, insurance or related industry (consumer healthcare, skin care, supplement, health tech etc,)
  • 5+year experience in multi-cultural environment with close communication with reginal and global marketing team including managements

学位/資格/語学力 Education/certification/Language

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Business English (Reading & Writing skill) 
  • Native level of Japanese (JLPT N1)

  • Experience of marketing for middle to senior generation
  • Agency management experience at client side
