Team / Role Overview

The TTS Ops Risk & Control / Reconciliations Business Execution Program and Financials lead will be responsible for:

  • Managing financials, productivity, investment, hiring & headcount

  • Production and management of business review decks – risk & control forums, monthly business reviews etc.

  • Managing various adhoc projects and programs across TTS Ops risk & control – ie Consent Order/ Enterprise Workforce Management (EWM)

This is a critical role for the business execution team driving the end to end execution & management of key aspects of the Risk & Control business.

What you will do:

Financials

  • Lead and support the continual build out of the risk and control / reconciliation organisation – organisational structure set up

  • Closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in building and managing financials – month end reporting, allocations management, productivity & investment tracking/ reporting etc.

  • End to end headcount management and reporting – hiring, attrition etc.

  • Create financial reports and summarize financial trends and provide insight to senior management

  • Ability to build views and story telling with extensive data points

  • Prepare & own various presentation production for senior leadership.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behaviour and decision making

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Program Management

  • Manages a large multi-faceted project/account/campaign or multiple projects at the same time.

  • Owns project goals leveraging expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team.

  • Organizes new challenges and drive business results.

  • Uses best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/customers’ needs and deliver within budget on desired outcomes.

  • Drives end results of the project as a representative of the business.

  • Works closely with Services Partner and horizontally across all lines of businesses

  • Prepares, maintains, and submits clear and concise activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports.

  • Assesses project risk potentials and discover potential problems before they occur.

  • Applies a proactive approach in routinely tracking the project participant progress against project goals.

  • Defines, teaches, and enforces the use of good project management practices such as techniques in resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled.

  • Identifies and where required amends the approach to the context and constraints of each project.

  • Constantly improving their own and their teams' skills through lessons-learned reviews at project completion.

  • Possess the knowledge, skills and experience to be able to recognize when problems surface or potential problems are looming.

  • Articulates problems, bring the right people together to solve problems and know when the problem has been properly addressed and closed.

  • Promotes partner involvement through effectively communicating project status upward and to the Client.

  • Applies lessons learned from recent projects to future projects.

  • Communicates to all concerned parties project milestones, status updates, as well as any existing or potential customer escalation issues.

  • Proactively follows escalation and change control processes.

  • Promotes good working relationships across a project, cultivating the people skills needed to develop trust and communication among all of a project's stakeholders: its sponsors, those who will make use of the project's results, those who command the resources needed, and the project team members.

What we'll need from you

  • Extensive relevant experience

  • Proficient computer skills with a expertise in Microsoft Office applications

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated presentation skills

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Extensive financial services experience

  • Ability to operate at different levels: to analyse issues, synthesize them. Develop themes. Understand risks, translate lessons learned into actions.

  • Ability and willingness to adapt to a fast-moving change environment. Strong communicator, written and oral across all levels of the organization, with ability to deliver succinct messages to senior sponsors across the firm.

  • Resilient and results oriented, with the ability to influence positive outcomes and deliver best class governance and controls.

  • Team player able to bring together wide range of individuals in pursuit of execution and progress.

  • Creativity. Adaptability, Drive and decisiveness to enable fast decision making, minimizing debate.

  • Ability to clearly define roles and responsibilities delegating to the appropriate team members.

  • Forward planning, and problem avoidance and solving skills. Leadership to drive execution while able to minimize tension and ensure the team operates efficiently.
