Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

The work model for the role is: On site

This role is contributing to the EDLS factory, Bac Ninh, ABB Vietnam
 

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Purchases materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.
• Ensures purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
• Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
• Oversees supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolves performance issues.
• Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on ERP or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in SAP for managing procurement processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory management
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier performance, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance.
