We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. This is a fixed-term, maternity cover position for approximately 2 years.

As an HR Generalist, you will handle the daily operations of the employee lifecycle. Your focus will be on executing our recruitment strategy—from sourcing candidates to managing the hiring process in Workday—and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires. You will act as a reliable point of contact for both employees and managers, providing clear guidance on Labor Law, assisting with performance management tasks, and maintaining accurate HR records to ensure the department runs efficiently.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the end-to-end Recruitment process, including headhunting, screening, and conducting interviews.

  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to define role requirements and selection criteria.

  • Maintain and update the onboarding process that makes new hires feel at ease from day one.

  • Collect and analyze onboarding feedback to constantly iterate and improve the experience.

  • Utilize data from stay/exit interviews and engagement surveys to design retention initiatives that address the root causes of turnover.

  • Utilize knowledge of Labour Law and internal policies to ensure full compliance and ethical handling of Labour Law (Disciplinary/Grievance) cases.

  • Guide leaders through the seamless execution of cyclical HR programs, ensuring consistency and high standards across all business units.

  • Identify "friction points" in the employee journey and propose creative solutions to enhance engagement and retention.

About you:

  • Degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of HR experience, with a focus on recruitment and generalist operations.

  • Fluent English language skills.

  • Proven experience in employer branding and optimizing recruitment/onboarding workflows.

  • Hands-on experience using Workday (Recruitment and Core HR modules).

  • Good understanding of local Labor Law and disciplinary procedures.

  • Ability to translate HR metrics (turnover, engagement, exit data) into actionable retention strategies.

  • Strong communication and mediation skills to navigate sensitive situations.

  • Ability to build credibility with leadership and support teams through organizational transitions.
