What will you do

You will help build out and support the implementation of key brand strategies for products and solutions of Johnson Controls. This role will:

  • develop competitor and market insights summaries for defined brand strategies

  • support the development of new standards and roll-out of new guidelines and templates

  • support the clear documentation and application of brand strategy frameworks

How will you do it

  • Assist in designing and publishing clear product brand guidelines and visual identity strategies

  • Conduct competitor analysis and recommendation across brand taxonomies to enable brand strategies

  • Assess competitive landscape and provide insight reports in order to facilitate naming development of product names aligned with global operating system

  • Assist in documenting and implementing clear partner brand strategies, project plans and activation frameworks

  • Conduct regular brand audits and brand trainings to ensure alignment with brand architecture, brand hierarchy, visual identity and positioning strategies to build and protect Johnson Controls product brands globally

  • Develop and implement brand management and measurement disciplines as a strategic operating system in the company 

  • Assist in optimizing processes for efficiency while solving operational challenges

  • Collaborate across divisions while analyzing data, managing projects and preparing reports, so as to facilitate alignment of daily operations with organizational goals

  • Assist in implementing brand migration strategies and product rationalization opportunities

  • Design, upload and audit brand related content within internal communication platforms (i.e. within internal collaboration and content management platforms such as SharePoint and Microsoft Viva as well as assets repository pages etc).

  • Manage document deficiencies in internal collaboration platforms and handle daily product brands’ related requests.

What we look for

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing, brand, or related experience in a similar field.

  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills is essential - ideally to a native level.

  • “Can do anything” mindset - Ability to collaborate and work with colleagues and stakeholders internationally is key

  • Experience working for a large, complex matrix organization, capable of engaging with multiple functions within the company. Must be able to collaborate in a matrix environment to effectively balance regional and functional priorities for win-win results.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication skills and creative mindset.

Preferred

  • 2-3 years of direct experience in Brand Management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related curriculum.

  • Experience in B2B brand strategy and B2B marketing environments

  • International marketing experience.
