We’re seeking a Lead Analyst, Insights & Analytics (Rest of APAC; primary markets ANZ and India) to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Marketing Science teams to provide insights and narratives that influence advertisers and partners. Specifically you will be tasked with leveraging Snap 1P and 3P tools to identify relevant vertical insights which can build relevance for Snap in the specific vertical context. Additionally, you will lead analysis and contribute to industry white papers,to support the Snap’s business narrative in APAC.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for monitoring and analysing competitive intelligence using third-party platforms. This includes tracking market trends, app performance metrics, and competitor strategies to provide actionable insights for business decisions

  • Conduct research using 1P and 3P data to identify relevant consumer trends within a vertical which can build relevance for Snap for an advertiser. 

  • Develop and present insights narratives that highlight Snapchat’s value propositions through consolidated measurement approaches.

  • Contribute to the development of industry white-papers that position Snap as a thought leader in the APAC exporting market.

  • Assist in creating and analysing brand post-campaign reports, including Brand lift study, campaign performance comparisons, analysis and recommendations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Technical:

  • SQL is a must, additional languages like Python a bonus .  

  • Understand basic concepts in market research like sampling, sample design, questionnaire design,   

  • Understanding of basic ads measurement concepts like a/b testing, MMM etc 

  • Possess some knowledge of advertising industry research topics, omni-channel brand & performance and measurement.

Analysis and Storytelling:

  • Ability to analyze large data sets, and synthesize into meaningful insights. 

  • Proven ability to present data and insights in a compelling storytelling format.  

  • Basic understanding of Snapchat and the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem.

  • Ability to  influence senior stakeholders with data based insights and compelling story telling

  • Ability to collaborate with XFNs in projects with distributed responsibility

  • Ability to manage senior stakeholder expectations and influence opinion 

  • Ability to bring compelling stories to the industry 

  • Have presented in conferences, seminars , Industry forums 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, or business analytics or equivalent years of experience

  • 7+ years of experience working with ad efficacy and insights research at a leading ad platform, agency, brand, or research firm.

  • Experience with ads measurement and market research tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in business, psychology, sociology or a related field

  • Experience working with media agencies and brands

  • Experience with trend-reporting and thought leadership

  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow within the role

  • Have published in journals or business publications.
