FFO Capital is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join its family office team. The office manages first-generation wealth for its principals and an emerging second generation located in Philadelphia. The team is responsible for investment portfolio management, financial resource management, tax compliance, credit facilities, risk management, special assets (e.g., art, aircraft), real estate as well as operating multiple foundations and trusts. The Operations Manager will report to the Managing Director and oversee operational aspects of the family office, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate is expected to: 

  • Develop and implement workflow process improvements, using AI and other software solutions, to increase efficiency, collaboration and better business decisions.
  • Foundation grant management and communications.
  • Special project management (e.g., asset acquisitions, software implementations).
  • Research projects.
  • Coordinate and manage family office needs with external service providers to deliver:
    • Device technology support (e.g., hardware and software applications).
    • Insurance coverage oversight and annual renewals.
    • Private aviation charter administration.
    • Employee on-boarding and benefits administration.
    • Legal contract review and compliance.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Targeting a candidate with 5-7 years of progressive experience in operational roles.
  • Understanding of financial services industry regulatory requirements.
  • Family office experience is a plus.
  • Legal background and/or software engineering experience are of interest.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or related field.
  • Professional certifications, including CFP, CPA, JD or CFA a plus.
