Job Description Summary:

Fenwick is seeking a Temporary Corporate Social Responsibility Assistant who will provide support to both the Senior Director of Corporate Social Responsibility/Pro Bono Counsel and the Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist on departmental responsibilities and projects. They will collaborate in assisting the development, implementation, evaluation and enhancement of the firm’s CSR & Pro Bono department.

This position offers a hybrid schedule and requires some days on-site depending on business and client needs. This position also requires 20-30 hours a week with the possibility to become full time at 40 hours per week.

Job Description:

  • Create social media posts and draft emails to request releases.
  • Track and provide metrics for pro bono clinics; respond to Legal Services request for metrics.
  • Maintain various pro bono pro bono resource databases, including uploading documents.
  • Coordinate sponsorship requests, including payments, drafting emails, and coordinating logos and seating arrangements.
  • Maintain files and records such as meeting minutes, attendance sheets, media release forms, and spreadsheets.
  • Attend and take minutes for Community Impact Committee meetings.
  • Assist with the New Business Intake System and prepare engagement letters for all new pro bono matters.
  • Assist in creating internal and external communication (newsletters, announcements, invitations, etc.) about CSR events.
  • Works closely with DEI team and CSR Specialist on diversity projects as needed.
  • Support the CSR/Pro Bono Departments on other projects as needed.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Social Responsibility/Pro Bono Counsel, the ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience providing administrative support in a professional service environment. Prior law firm experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

The anticipated range for this position is:

$57,000 - $77,250

Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance.  Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
