About the Role: As an advanced Engineer you would execute software testing and Develop test cases and test plans, Writing Automation Scripts to automate Test cases.

What You Will Do

Detect and Prevent Defects early in the Software before changes are main lined.

  • Working Closely with SW Development: Drive accountability of SW quality back into development
  • Detect all defects before the System Test Phase
  • Optimize the Hardware Setup
  • Ramp up the CI/CD automation pipeline for all new projects.
  • Avoid Repetitive testing tasks and reuse the test cases.
  • Incorporate maximum process & test automation.
  • Communize / Standardize the Test process across SW Test Teams
  • Monitor Slipped Defects and Remove potential causes in a Systemic way
  • Ensure 100% Testable Requirements are covered in SW Testing

What You Need

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience needed to perform the core responsibilities of the Domain and interface Test engineer.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering/sciences or equivalent from premier institutes 
  • 5-6 years of experience in domain and interface testing and automotive infotainment & cluster testing and understanding of embedded systems, focusing on Android and Linux is preferred.
  • Experience in participation in requirement grooming, test case development, test execution, review, Issue identification and analysis and test reporting.
  • Experience in Automation testing (test script development, characterization and API testing is preferred.
  • Experience in interface/API testing with strong Python, C, C++ programming skills is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication and Team work skills.

    • Test Readiness
    • Traceability Matrix
    • Validation delivery Report
    • Defects Reports
    • Test coverage
  • Analyzing & identifying the potential root cause of the issues encountered during testing
  • Maintaining the quality of the testing and ensuring adherence to QA specifications.
  • Discuss with the development team for the queries raised by the team members, to resolve the issues ASAP and assist in issue reproduction & capturing necessary logs.
  • Usage of CANoe for test and analysis of individual ECUs
  • Report software defects and track quality metrics such as defect counts and test coverage
  • Participate as a team member in testing, planning analysis, process management to identify issues, risks, and Verification of the bugs.
