Summary:
IQVIA is looking for a passionate Product Manager to define, build, launch and grow the SaaS generation of Pharmacovigilance. Work closely with our engineering teams and clients to guide products from conception to launch. As part of the Product Management team you bridge the technical and business worlds as you gather business and regulatory requirements, design features and prioritize improvements.
You'll collaborate closely with engineering but also work with clients, sales, marketing and consulting teams. You have a bias towards action and can break down complex problems into simple, elegant solutions with actions communicated to drive product development. As a Product Manager you will champion the product and be part the team shaping the next generation of Pharmacovigilance that impacts the lives of millions of patients across the world.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the product strategy and its messaging.
• Gather, author and communicate specific actionable requirements for product development.
• Solicit input from internal and external subject matter experts with a hands-on approach to product design and prototyping that swiftly validate solutions.
• Ensure we are solving the right problems in the best order – and for the product not an individual client.
• Manage product themes and features from definition to release in an Agile manner – design, implement, iterate.
• Utilize the issue tracking system and change control process to ensure that the product back-log is well maintained and prioritized.
• Work with Development and QA team members to ensure development Sprints and Releases are delivered on time and deliver planned business outcomes.
• Be the product champion within the organization, communicating features as the subject matter expert to internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams – especially for supporting business development activities.
• Look for opportunities to innovate and uncover use cases to distil into product requirements.
• Be a team player and Individual contributor with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Eligibility:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (MBA or other Masters preferred).
• 8-12 years of IT experience with at least 6 years as Product Manager in Product Development.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to effectively explain complex problems and advocate solutions to engineering and clients.
• Proven experience of eliciting and drafting Use Cases and Business/User Requirements.
• Capable of translating high level business requirements into detailed functional requirement and documentation that includes screen mock-ups, process diagrams, entity details and database design.
• Experience with APIs, Data Exchange Schemas, Data Migrations and Search Matching Algorithms.
• Interest/Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Algorithms.
• Preferred: Experience in working in Agile software development environment.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Lightning and BOX.
• Preferred: Experience with JIRA/Confluence tools.
• Preferred: Pharmacovigilance Domain knowledge and background.
