Who You Are?
-Qualified lawyer, admitted to the Bar Association,
-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Faculty of Law in Turkiye,
-Minimum 8-10 years of experience in legal operations and processes, with a focus on litigation and debt collection,
-Strong experience in handling official correspondence, debt recovery, and legal proceedings, particularly in the finance and/or fintech industries,
-Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in overseeing both internal legal teams and external counsel,
-Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to conduct risk assessments, implement controls, and manage legal processes effectively,
-Proficiency in drafting comprehensive reports and accounting for litigation contingencies, including reserves,
-Exceptional communication and decision-making skills, capable of working with global and cross-functional teams,
-High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English,
-Experience managing outsourced legal counsel, including the review, approval, and reporting of expenses, as well as ensuring that outsourced firms are meeting their obligations,
-Ability to independently handle legal cases and represent the company in court proceedings, including consumer disputes, mediation procedures (arabuluculuk), and criminal law investigations,
-Strong experience preparing reports for the finance team, particularly in calculating outstanding litigation reserve amounts and controlling related legal expenses.

What You’ll Do?
-Manage and lead a team of legal professionals, ensuring smooth coordination of litigation processes while adhering to legal standards and regulations,
-Oversee and control outsourced law firms, ensuring they meet their obligations and monitoring their expenses, with responsibility for approving and reporting on those expenses,
-Handle lawsuits directly, representing the company in legal proceedings, including consumer disputes, mediation processes, and criminal investigations,
-Develop and implement strategies for effective case management, dispute resolution, and legal risk mitigation,
-Independently draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and ensure proper management of the litigation process in compliance with relevant procedures,
-Provide strategic direction on cases, making informed decisions regarding case management, risk assessments, and legal approaches,
-Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with broader business objectives and ensure seamless communication between departments,
-Offer mentorship and guidance to junior legal team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment,
-Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts, ensuring the team stays updated with best practices and evolving legal standards,
-Regularly prepare and present reports for the finance team regarding litigation reserves and the financial impact of ongoing cases.
