Wellness Coordinator/Consultant

**We are seeking qualified candidates across the country for this hybrid opportunity**

The role of the wellness consultant is highly collaborative. They work directly with your benefits team and executive leadership to develop programs in support of your well-being strategy. The wellness consultant works with cross-enterprise partners and other vendors to deliver tools and resources to execute the strategy. Their overarching goal is to improve engagement in health programs and promote a culture of well-being.

 The wellness consultant responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the development, coordination, management and maintenance of your well-being programming to reduce health risk and medical costs; and encourage healthy lifestyles addressing virtual, onsite and hybrid requirements.
  • Assisting with the definition of practical and actionable well-being goals, gathering and defining baseline data and defining measures of success over time.
  • Participation with wellness committee and wellness champions to drive goals and advance the well-being culture.
  • Leveraging existing programs, relationships, and resources to utilize well-being dollars wisely.
  • Positioning, assessment, and evaluation of health promotion programs such as biometric screenings and health assessments (onsite, virtual and hybrid).
  • Implementation support for onsite services. Working with third-party administrators to vet and implement new solutions and maintain current vendor relationships.
  • Developing communication pieces (i.e., newsletters, flyers) to promote aspects of the well-being programming.
  • Supporting the customer’s benefits/total rewards team in various well-being events (onsite, virtual and hybrid) to answer questions about well-being programs and encourage participation in available programs, coordinate referral to appropriate programs as necessary.
  • Recommendation of meaningful incentive strategies that drive participation in new and existing programs.

Education and Certification Requirements

  • College degree, or equivalent experience.

Requirements

  • Several years of relevant and similar working experience.

The wellness consultant also has access to ART, our market-leading analytic platform that adds value through identification of key cost and utilization drivers and a Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) pathway.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
