SCUK Senior Business Integration Manager

Santander Consumer Finance is one of the UKs Leading Motor Finance companies providing finance to a network of dealerships throughout the United Kingdom.

We are currently expanding our contract hire and leasing offering and are looking for a Senior Business Integration Manager on a 24 month fixed term contract. This role will be a ‘hands-on’ role with a blend of leadership and doing.  You will be responsible for the business activities to complete the transfer of services between suppliers and the integration of an acquired business into Santander Consumer Finance. The successful candidate must come from a Financial Services background with extensive experience in contract hire and leasing.  

Please note that whilst this is a hybrid role, at least 3 days a week are required in the Milton Keynes office and according to business needs other locations on an ad hoc and flexible basis. We cannot offer full-time remote working.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the UK Leasing Management Team to define and develop the target operating model (TOM) for the sale and management of end-to-end Leasing activities in the UK Market, working in conjunction with the global leasing function
  • Own the design and development of new Customer Journeys and associated business processes to support the delivery of a future target operating model for the contract hire and leasing business
  • Responsible for managing and completing all activities required to successfully transfer business services and outsourced activity between suppliers
  • Responsible for the service integration of an acquired business into Santander Leasing in the UK
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) to own and lead the functional scope, design and integration of a new Santander global leasing platform, to meet the needs of the UK leasing market and agreed TOM
  • Be an advocate for Customers to ensure their needs are central to the design of business processes and supporting technology platforms
  • Engage and work with internal SCUK functions including legal and compliance, finance, risk and technology during the development of all customer journeys
  • Manage or escalate any identified risks in accordance with Santander Consumer risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines
  • Create and present reports to stakeholders on progress, including risks, issues and suggested solutions regarding delivery

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant and demonstrable practical experience and knowledge working in leasing companies in the UK
  • Experience in working on projects in a Motor Finance environment, specifically in contract hire or leasing
  • Experience of supporting a business through service transfers and service integrations is essential
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities whilst multitasking effectively
  • Proven experience of delivering business change utilising internal, external, 3rd party and outsourced resources across a multi-sourced supply chain is essential
  • Experience of Financial reporting and controls including budgeting and planning and cost centre management
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and risks with a willingness to tackle problems themselves
  • First class written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with and present to both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business
