Job Description

The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) is seeking a Program Finance Analyst. Financial professionals that are responsible for the financial aspects of programs in support of a wide range of customers. They are key members of the program team and work directly with the program manager to help define the program's goals and objectives; create and maintain a program's budget and schedule, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution. They may prepare and present financial forecasts, reports and analysis. They may participate in new business proposals and also prepare on-contract proposals for customers. They also serve as liaisons between the Program Team and cross-functional departments to perform financial research, manage a program’s general ledger, and/or monitor a program’s cash flow. They possess a working knowledge of multiple contract types, tools and processes to support program audits and ensure policy/program compliance. Preference will be given to candidates located near a Leidos facility in Arlington, Beavercreek, Tucson, San Diego, or other locations will be considered.  Potential for telework will be based on manager’s approval.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Will be a Program Finance Analyst on a program portfolio under the operation and be the LInC Service Center Planner. 
  • Will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of the programs. 
  • Responsibilities include significant interface with the Program Managers, Contracts, FP&A, and other Support organizations.  Implements financial policies and procedures in support of the program. 
  • Will be working with team in all aspects of program structure/deliverables. 
  • Establishes and maintains cost/schedule baselines, develops WBS and related dictionaries, budgets, and has a complete understanding of related financial policies. 
  • Provides data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program financial reviews. 
  • Prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. 
  • Basic knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts. 
  • Has the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments within the programs supporting. 
  • Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as being able to operate independently. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as:  CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, OAC, Power BI, and Insight.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as: Intermediate to Advanced Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
