Job Summary:

You’re an excellent communicator with the ability to listen and understand client needs, then help shape a solution. You have automation experience that covers business acumen, time management skills, and a passion for learning. You’re adept at process assessments, and you understand applications of IA in different business domains. You can communicate complex concepts while managing client expectations and conveying the strength and benefits of various automation technologies for our clients.  You will also have: 

  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple business units to develop analyses and documentation in a collaboration with Operational Excellence, communicating effectively and efficiently with all teams 
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate project requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain process tasks and documentation, including the delivery of weekly status reports to all appropriate parties 
  • Author, update and deliver internal project documentation 
  • Partner with Operational Excellence on end user training and documentation 
  • Conduct daily production troubleshooting and report problems 
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimal interactions, and respond to questions and concerns from business partners with supporting research and recommendations 

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in business process improvement reviews to identify opportunities where automation can drive benefits and efficiencies for the business 
  • Play a key role in building an automation roadmap and driving its delivery through a team of RPA Specialists. 
  • Problem-solve issues that arise in day to day running of any robotic processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required – provide the team assistance with error handling, exceptions, and debugging 
  • Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders across the business to be well positioned to identify future opportunities for process improvement and automation solutions 
  • Work closely with the relevant technology and product teams on program strategy and setup 
  • Support Automation Specialists through the lifecycle of their automation projects & ensure they deliver within agreed timeframe, this involves: 
    • Supporting with reviews when required. 
    • Ensuring they set deadlines working with key partners, assign responsibilities and communicate this in a timely manner. 
    • Ensuring they perform risk and issue management to minimize project risks and issues. 

Requirements:

  • Experience working on transformational technology initiatives  
  • Experience applying project management best practices and design-thinking approaches 
  • Experience using key performance indicators, metrics, and data/predictive analytics to support planning, decision-making and continuous improvement efforts 
  • Experience working with abstract concepts in innovative ways to solve problems. 
  • Experience with consensus building to bring together opposing views and steering debates toward practical solutions and paths forward. 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an Information Technology emphasis strongly preferred. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance agency or wholesale brokerage, preferably one focusing on Property & Casualty Lines and/or Employee Benefits.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical and detail-oriented technology role preferred.
  • Prior work experience and familiarity with software and systems preferred (Epic Agency Management Systems, Kofax, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blueprism)
