The Senior Associate, Talent Management is a member of the DEIB and Talent Development Team and reports to the Director of DEIB & Talent Development. This role will work closely with the Director to design and manage the Studio’s performance management process, upward feedback, and employee engagement survey. Additionally, this role will work closely with our Manager for Leadership and Team Development to design training related to our talent management efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Pixar People Partners and Senior Leaders to:
- Design and implement the Studio’s performance evaluation process utilizing best practices for inclusive assessment of employee performance
- Manage the implementation of Upward Feedback surveys for shows
- Design and execute the Studio’s employee engagement survey and help identify key areas of improvement that influence on-going Studio goals
- Co-create learning programs designed to provide managers with performance management skills for impactful feedback/growth conversations that drive employee engagement.
- Support annual People programs that enable rewards differentiation based on performance, recognition programs, and guide employees’ growth and development.
- Execute creative campaign and programs to socialize Studio leadership expectations and values
- Manage all calibration sessions to prepare the Studio to navigate the performance evaluation process and review employee engagement data
- Regularly evaluate our processes for effectiveness, inclusion, and equity through intentional feedback mechanisms
Advise the Manager of Leadership & Team Development on potential topics for future development offerings based on engagement survey data - Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding process changes
- Represent the Studio at critical meetings with Pixar and Disney Enterprise stakeholders
SKILLS
- 5-7 years of human resources or organizational development experience
- Experience designing and executing complex processes in collaboration with various organizational stakeholders
- Outstanding communication skills; must be a direct and thoughtful communicator
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships across a highly matrixed organization and with diverse groups and individuals
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to use data to drive organizational decision
- Ability to help others make sense of data
- Strong understanding of how to build inclusive HR programs like performance and employee engagement
- Strong operational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
The hiring range for this position in Emeryville is $95,880.00 to $124,080.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
