Position Summary...

Account Manager’s primary focus is to manage successful advertiser relationships and help grow advertising partnerships and investments within our Walmart Connect business. They work cross functionally with Sales, Ad Product and Merchandising teams by building strategic campaigns through a deep understanding of the vendors business objectives.

What you'll do...

  • Be responsible for building and expanding customer relationships, working both independently and collaboratively with the Client Partner.

  • Identify opportunities for increased adoption of sponsored search and generate additional revenue through upselling and cross-selling.

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through.

  • Execute tactical support requests for marketplace sellers, such as issue troubleshooting and data reporting.

  • Handle escalations and resolve issues for advertisers through coordination across various functional areas of the company, including Ad Operations, Product, and Client Service.

  • Demonstrate product features beyond central functionality to help advertisers achieve key business results.

  • Use advertiser feedback, market insights, and internal data to contribute to the development of features and programs that enhance customer success.

  • Maintain disciplined customer engagement to continually drive high-value and adaptation to a self-serve offering. This includes establishing a regular cadence (e.g., bi-weekly meetings, quarterly business reviews).

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, and/or customer success in the ad tech/ad operations/ SEM/digital media/marketing/advertising space, working with advertisers and agencies.

  • Proven track record of owning customer relationships

  • Overseeing the entire lifecycle of the client and being responsible for account retention and growth.

  • Experience leading client meetings, conducting product training, and analyzing campaign data.

  • Comfortable with data-driven storytelling and the ability to leverage data to provide customers with recommendations for improving business performance.

  • Ability to lead or collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
