Your role and the team
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for finance and leadership? At Santander Leasing, you will have the opportunity as a Finance Manager to play a key role in shaping our capital plan and achieving our business objectives. In this challenging role, you will drive the financial management of our entity and subsidiaries, making an impact at both strategic and operational levels. You will work closely with our senior management and support the Management Board and Supervisory Board with sound financial analysis, reporting and forecasting.

Your duties and responsibilities in short.
Define the strategic capital plan and budget as part of the entity's strategic plan, including capital objectives, capital structure and actions required to achieve these objectives.
Ensure the local embedding of the Accounting and Financial & Management Corporate Framework, as well as the development and updating of related internal regulations (models, policies and procedures), using the standards provided by the Group as reference, and adapting them to local regulations and standards, as appropriate, and ensuring group validation where necessary.
Design, propose and implement appropriate strategies/actions to achieve the targeted balance.
Provide proper support to the internal audit process and ensure recovery of internal audit recommendations, as well as coordination of external audits and preparation of financial statements.
Prepare and monitor monthly reports, budgeting and forecasts to Management Board and Supervisory Board.
Leading the entity's senior management and advising other functions, such as the Supervisory Boards.
Consolidation and administration of subsidiary(ies).
Financing lease portfolio and maintaining contacts with external financiers.
Preparation of VPB returns and other tax matters.
Support of M&A/Due-Diligence processes.
You are
Proven successful in a relatively demanding and commercially broad leadership role in a multinational environment, with experience in the operational leasing industry as a plus.
Experienced in working within a matrix organization, being part of the management team with a direct reporting line to the CEO of Santander Leasing and a functional reporting line to the CFO of Santander Consumer Finance S.A., Branch Netherlands.
Familiar with Excel and Business Intelligence.
In possession of a completed, relevant education at HBO level.
Possessing good communication skills in Dutch and English (fluent).
