The Sr. Analyst, Payroll Accounting will be responsible for the process of the sales, marketing and corporate incentive programs for the organization.
How You'll Shine:
Analyze data and relevant sales and marketing data trends, develop compensation structures and pricing
Ability to take initiative without established guidelines and procedures using independent judgement, while continue looking to improve process and procedures.
Ability to independently research problems areas and facilitate meetings and decision-making processes
Assist in preparation of the annual merit increase and incentive programs and budget
Liaison between the payroll accounting department, sales, marketing, FP&A and other accounting departments
Assist in the preparation of the accounting department metrics, variances explanation and any other duties assigned
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience required. CPA, or master’s degree preferred
Experience in timeshare, property management or hotel/rental accounting is preferred.
Working knowledge of reporting and analysis experience with General Ledger software.
General ledger closing and GAAP financial reporting experience.
Excellent professional communication skills, organization and presentation skills; ability to multi-task & coordinate multiple projects and high degree attention to detail
Deadline conscious with strong drive, initiative and the ability to work well in time-sensitive situations.
Maintain strict confidentiality; exercise tact when dealing with sensitive, complex and confidential information
Functional working knowledge of PeopleSoft and Microsoft office suite preferred.
Advanced Excel skills, experience managing large sets of data.
5+ years of experience in financial or operational analysis, budgeting or forecasting.
4-5 years finance experience in a corporate environment.
Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
