A fantastic opportunity for an individual with accounting and bookkeeping experience seeking a great working environment to join our successful, dynamic and expanding business. In this role you will handle sensitive data and be privy to confidential information, as such discretion is vital.
This is a full-time position. We operate a hybrid working policy, requiring employees to attend our central London office at least two days a week (8 times a month).
Key responsibilities:
- Support and co-lead the accounting function and deal with relevant queries across all three companies in the UK, USA and Canada.

- Includes managing accounts receivable as well as leading and building the accounts payables alongside our bookkeeper.
- Perform bank reconciliations and both monthly & quarterly soft closing of accounts across all companies.
- Perform payment reconciliations and process journal entries throughout the year accurately and promptly
- Perform year end closing of accounts
- Own and maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Support inter-company transaction reconciliations and payment service provider reconciliations
- Liaise with external accountants to file statutory reports – Quarterly VAT in UK, 1099 reports in USA and statutory accounts across all three companies.
- Lead on company expense software – approval, processing & training of new staff.
- Support financial controller with any ad hoc duties

Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum BSc/BA or equivalent qualification
- Started or interested in CIMA or ACCA qualification
- Thorough understanding of basic/intermediate accounting
- Relevant experience preferably in service industry
- Intermediate skills and knowledge of MS Suite including Excel
- Experience with Xero and SAP Concur is a plus
