Job Summary:

This position will manage the process for the implementation of capital projects, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintain accurate records and documentation of implemented projects, collaborate with multifunctional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain), and develop and maintain procedures for the implementation of projects according to the availability. Work on the evaluation of 5-year projects in accordance with the company's vision.

What You Will Do:   

  • Review and justify capital projects.
  • Perform Asset Life Cycle Analysis (M&E)
  • Perform and follow up on approval of capital requisitions.
  • Perform labor reclassification for capital projects.
  • Evaluate and justify 5-year capital projects.
  • Prepare condition letters for machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with BIQs for each project.
  • Perform, follow up and close change letters, registration and surplus.
  • Reviewed with the OPACC financial calculation manager.
  • Perform savings projects (OIA)
  • Perform financial analysis of implemented projects.

Education requirement:  

Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering in Administrative Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Administrative Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Effective Communications:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills.

Problem Solving:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and product drawings.   
  • Working knowledge of Power BI.

Facilities Management:

  • Management, preparation and administration of short-, medium- and long-term capital projects (CAPEX, OIA).
  • Advanced knowledge in electrical energy and air management.
  • Knowledge of Project management
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Knowledge of product development, quality, or change management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Preventive Maintenance:   

  • Advanced knowledge in administration and preparation of maintenance plans for major equipment.
  • Ability to analyze the life cycle of machinery and equipment.
  • Management of SAP PM module, AutoCAD
  • Knowledge in NextGen.

Additional Information:

  • The Location for this position in Reynosa MX
  • Work schedule: Monday – Friday and weekends as needed. Flexibility required.   
  • This position will require 10% travel
