NVIDIA is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual as a Manufacturing Operations Leader based in Vietnam. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of an impactful team in Vietnam from the ground up. Your primary responsibilities will include executing manufacturing operations strategies to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across our operations in Vietnam. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and supply base partners to ensure the fulfillment of build plans, optimize processes, enhance productivity, and uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
What you'll be doing:
Develop and implement site mission, vision, and operational strategies to align with company objectives in Vietnam. Lead day-to-day operations, coordinating staff, resources, and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and assess operational performance in Vietnam, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing necessary changes. Achieve build plans to guarantee supply fulfillment. Act as the primary point of escalations for Vietnam factories, addressing technical and business issues promptly and effectively. Take charge of factory emergency and disaster response, reporting, escalation, and recovery. Ensure compliance with regional laws, regulations, and company policies in Vietnam, with a focus on health and safety standards for local employees. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with CM factories, component suppliers, and supply base partners in Vietnam. Develop resource plans, recruit top-tier talent, and lead a team of operations professionals in Vietnam, providing guidance, support, and training as required. Represent NVIDIA as the site lead in Vietnam, managing budgets and resources efficiently to achieve operational objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on working models, resources, processes, tools, and KPIs, serving as an escalation point for cross-functional teams within Nvidia. Uphold NVIDIA's core values and codes, foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and develop succession plans and talent pipelines focused on operational excellence and digital transformation. Support the governance and implementation of digital transformation initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and infrastructure setup. Provide regular reports and updates on operational performance in Vietnam to senior management.
What we need to see:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent experience. Overall 15 years of experience, and 5 years of specific management experience.
Excellent knowledge of boards, systems, and network product manufacturing flow and processes with proven program management capability.
Excellent technical leadership skills such as project planning, scheduling and resource management skills.
Consistent track record of collaboration across teams, customers, and local partners.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience working in a global outsourcing manufacturing environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Fluency in Vietnamese and English
