About the Team & Role

We’re looking for an experienced Design Operations Program Manager to be part of our Product Design Operations & Planning team. This role reports to the Design Operations & Planning manager and is critical to ensuring our design teams successfully deliver on our commitments throughout the product creation process. As a team member, you will work closely with industrial designers, UX designers, user researchers, the color/material team, and more, and you will partner closely with engineering, software, marketing, and product management functions. We need someone who cares about building solid relationships, lives and breathes the details in everything they do and is a creative thinker who is comfortable quickly adapting to enable our design teams to focus on and drive the most critical work forward. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive design project plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment.

  • Oversee product design development, ensuring adherence to design guidelines and brand standards.

  • Conduct design milestone reviews.

  • Manage design resources and prioritize projects effectively.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.

  • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of design programs.

  • Stay current with industry trends and program management best practices.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in design program management, preferably in the consumer electronics or audio industry.

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organization, and execution. Has a knack for thinking outside the box.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proven ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with consumer electronics product development from concept to launch.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall development environments.

Location:

This is a hybrid position. Tuesday – Thursday onsite at our Framingham, MA facility and Monday/Friday WFH. Please indicate you are open to relocation if you are not within commuting distance.
