The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The person hired for the position of Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and expanding an assigned sales territory in a business to business sales environment working for the 3M Advanced Materials Business, which is a global leader of specialized engineered additives, focused on Industrial markets including Transportation, Oil & Gas, Construction, Electronics, and Polymers.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Establishes and maintains customer relationships. Understands the customer’s business/sales model to influence key players.
- Introduces new products, and communicates promotions to relevant customers and prospects
- Works with assigned field reps to establish, maintain and update a working Sales Plan with strategies and tactics to achieve annual sales forecast. Begins to identify customer’s business needs and objectives.
- Manages assigned accounts as well as assists the outside sales team in various accounts as needed
- Uses technical product knowledge to identify products that meet customer needs
- Documents activities in CRM system
- Works closely with 3M Advanced Materials Division Business Managers, Marketing, and Sales Specialists to facilitate the pursuit of large potential leads and assist in the sales process.
- Executes cold calls to develop leads.
-Shares best practices with the team.

Travel: May include up to 10 % domestic
