Job Description:

***Sales territory includes NY, NJ, DE and eastern PA***

***Candidate must live in the territory, preferrably in New York ***

The Sales Development Associate is responsible for engaging in lead generation and qualification activities that result in viable new sales opportunities within designated regions. This role will be a member of a market based team and working in partnership with the Sales Support Specialist and Sales Executive will be responsible to accelerate growth and sustain performance in high potential markets.

Effectively leverages the Omnicare Value Proposition to capture viable leads. Develops initial relationships with prospects to create viable leads through a combination of networking, web-inquiries, onsite visits, appointments, and cold calling. Creates a solid first impression of Omnicare services and solutions.

Required Qualifications :

• Demonstrated prior experience in sales; experience selling a service (3+ yrs)
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and driven to exceed both personal and team sales goals
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills
• Must have a working knowledge of computers in a Windows/Microsoft Office environment, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Must be willing to travel up to 80%

Preferred Qualifications :

- The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with Salesforce.com

Education :

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$40,600.00 - $85,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
