The Loan Product and Transaction Management Lead role falls within Loan Product & Transaction Management (LPTM) team which was established to support Wealth Credit Management by instituting an improved lending experience, increased control throughout the deal lifecycle, and simplification of processes.

The role involves supporting of the deal lifecycle and to help increase origination and underwriting teams. Additional focus items are to assist with the enhancement of client experience and improve transparency through use of adequate governance forums and effective reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of the loan closing process and ensure approvals and control requirements are met prior to closing.
  • Help ensure smooth client experience and proper revenue recognition for Wealth Wholesale Lending Products.
  • Perform post-close checks to ensure credit system aligns with credit documents.
  • Review new deal pipeline and undertake operational feasibility checks.
  • Help to provide ongoing oversight and management of the Loan Lifecycle through monitoring of critical financial factors, data accuracy and Operational Governance of KRIs & KPIs. 
  • Assist with the investigation and help coordinate resolution of client non-standard issues.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Wealth credit management or similar
  • Strong analytical and execution skills
  • Strong knowledge of Citibank’s Credit Policies, Product Programs and Citi Policies
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Strong initiative and interactive approach to problem solving
  • Displays flexibility and independence in a demanding environment
  • Team Player

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
