Join us as a Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Systems and Process Design Lead

  • In this key role, we’ll look to you to develop and oversee the strategy for dependencies across TPRM, including KRI reporting, dashboards, and workflow automation
  • You’ll also help lead and shape priorities and aims for the function, through the translation and provision of relevant MI, internal and external insights, analysis and resulting action plans

What you'll do

TPRM has embarked on a period of extensive analysis, review, and improvement, following communications and observations from the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Internal Audit. As part of the TPRM Programme of work, we’ve worked closely with stakeholders across the Bank to progress requirements to enable the delivery of framework enhancements, that allow us to address these findings.

As our TPRM Systems and Process Design Lead you’ll be owning, designing and delivering the systems, training and processes strategy and objectives.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Delivering effective and timely data and reporting, supporting activities and business decision making
  • Identifying, monitoring and prioritising the systems change portfolio and resource across the function to implement effectively and efficiently
  • Liaising with internal and external bodies to identify leading practices that the bank should employ, and converting these into practically applicable insights
  • Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure cohesion and agility across relevant third party risk management activities
  • Leading the research and benefits analysis of alternative and innovative solutions providing thought leadership to convert strategic options into practical solutions
  • Providing up-to-date market research to support TPRM processes, driving improvement opportunities and increased effectiveness

The skills you'll need

To excel in this role, you’ll have an operations, risk, and technology background to effectively provide leadership to implement and embed the new third party risk framework, and to stand up the new operating model. 

You’ll have extensive experience of strategy development and application in a complex commercial environment. In addition, you’ll bring in a proven track record in people leadership and delivery within a continuous improvement driven environment. You’ll be a strategic thinker, combining vision with application and demonstrating the ability to convert strategy into implementation.

You’ll also have:

  • A strong understanding of the latest relevant industry and functional developments and trends
  • Experience of programme and change delivery, including leading systems change track record in large, complex environments
  • The ability to build and develop strong relationships with internal customers and other key stakeholders
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills with a proven ability to influence at senior levels
