About The Role:

The HRBP collaborates with the members of the HR team, company managers and leaders, and employees to deliver a spectrum of strategic and functional HR services.

In this role, you are fundamental to the development of Spot leaders and employees, partnering to ensure the successful execution and delivery of HR programs and processes. Reporting to the Sr. HR Business Partner, you are the ‘ring leader’ that connects our people to solutions and outcomes that enable Spot to achieve our priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a resource for and ensure an open line of communication is maintained with business partners for fair and consistent interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate collaboratively with leadership to influence, develop, implement, and manage policies, programs, and services, in areas such as retention, performance management, and employee relations

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducts weekly or scheduled meetings with assigned business leaders or Spot locations.
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of HR and legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity, retention and employee engagement.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Ensures proper HR business processes are consistently applied.
  • Key liaison between internal HR specialists and HR operations (talent acquisition, training and development) to ensure new hires have the Spot Experience.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of fast-paced HR experience.
  • Demonstrate passion, innovation, expertise, respect, teamwork, and initiative
  • Polished communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop excellent and sustainable relationships with leaders
  • Ability to work independently, yet know when to partner with HR Business Partners, and/or HR Leadership
  • Excellent investigative skills and ability to generate high-quality documentation and reports
