This role is part of the E.ON Next Planning & Performance Team and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to play their part in helping us create experiences that our customers rave about.

As a Performance & Insight Analyst, you will be working in partnership with our operational teams, producing regular reports with insight and commentary to highlight performance and trends ahead of working closely with performance and operational leads to drive better decision making. The Performance & Insight Analyst will join the Planning & Performance Team and will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a robust suite of performance reporting and actionable insight from Leadership Team to mini-business team level.

The Performance & Insight Analyst role presents a great opportunity to develop your performance analyst skills further in E.ON Next by working across a number of different operational areas to help deliver the best possible service for our customers. You should already be confident at manipulating and analysing complex datasets from multiple sources and in communicating the results to a range of stakeholders to enable ease of understanding.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

  • Conduct root cause and deep dive analysis on performance metrics to identify issues and suggest operational improvements.
  • Identify causes of performance drops and establish corrective action plans, tracking their resolution.
  • Collaborate with L&D to address skill and training needs through targeted interventions.
  • Provide insightful data and commentary to enable leaders to make informed decisions on performance and customer strategies.
  • Present data and insights clearly to help leaders understand issues and potential solutions.
  • Analyse customer journeys to identify pain points, recommending improvements, and engage stakeholders to mitigate risks.

It would be great I you had

  • Proven experience in operational performance management, process improvement and data analysis
  • You must have an analytical mind, with strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Expert user of data analysis tools, examples include Tableau, SQL, spreadsheet tools, speech analytics
  • A self-starter who can effectively prioritise workloads with an ability to identify trends, issues and challenges - a real get up and go attitude to tackle issues head on and who responds positively to change
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholder expectations
  • Must possess a drive to continually develop their skills and abilities to meet the evolving needs of the organisation
