What You’ll Do 

  • Manage the End-to-End Tech recruitment process effectively. 

  • Proactively source, identify, and engage top technical talent through various channels, including sourcing platforms, social media, networking events and referrals. 

  • Consult and advise effectively with Hiring Managers on technology talent across the entire recruitment process.  

  • Evaluate and assess technical skills and capabilities during candidate interactions to meet recruiting requirements 

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future technical roles. 

  • Create clear, compelling, and detailed job ads which align to our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to attract top talent.  

  • Utilise tools and technology to ensure candidates and Hiring Managers have an irresistibly simple experience throughout the recruitment process. 

  • Expertise in industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging technologies to attract and consult top talent 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities in the system.  

  • Ensure compliance with company policies throughout the recruitment process.  

  • Ensure process and policy are adhered to and all mandatory learning requirements are completed. 

  • Take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others, comply with, and implement any reasonable Telstra HSE instruction, policy, standard, minimum requirement or procedure, and support Telstra to meet its duties under the relevant safety and environmental legislation. 

 

About You 

  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing, assessing, and acquiring high-quality technical talent, with a proactive approach to managing the full recruitment lifecycle. 

  • Expertise in designing and executing unique sourcing strategies, assessment techniques, and acquisition methods to meet business and technical requirements. 

  • Strong capability in business partnering, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor while effectively communicating a shared vision to align and engage key stakeholders. 

  • Ability to integrate business insights with technical and commercial fundamentals to inform strategic planning, drive decision-making, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. 

  • Experience in delivering a positive candidate experience, engaging with internal clients, and ensuring recruitment processes align with business needs. 

  • Ability to drive accountability within the recruitment process, ensuring timely and effective delivery of talent. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly while influencing stakeholders and candidates effectively. 

  • Excellent understanding of the technical skills and qualifications required for various tech roles to accurately assess candidates. 

  • Experience in recruiting using Workday is highly desirable.
