About Team:

Enterprise Business Services is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, Associate Digital Experience. Within EBS, our team processes the payment for suppliers  of Walmart Warehouses who spread across United States and other 26 countries including South Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico. We ensure the timely and accurate payments by reconciling the supplier merchandise against the invoices presented for the items ordered.

What you'll do:

  • As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications using ReactJS.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our users.
  • Your advanced skills and experience will be vital in driving the front-end development processes, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Your key responsibilities are as follows.
  • Lead the design and development of user interfaces using ReactJS.
  • Architect and build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Set coding standards and best practices for the development team.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Lead code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality code.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and development practices.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into well-architected solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Coordinate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration with APIs and other server-side services.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive test suites using tools like Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
  • Ensure robust and reliable software through rigorous testing and debugging practices.
  • Identify, document, and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.
  • Apply design thinking principles to problem-solving and software development processes.
  • Engage in user research and empathy-building activities to better understand user needs and pain points.
  • Prototype and iterate on solutions quickly, incorporating user feedback to improve designs.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure that the end-to-end user experience is cohesive and intuitive.

  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to improve development processes, enhance system performance, and reduce technical debt.
  • Encourage and facilitate continuous learning and professional development within the team.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on ReactJS.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with ReactJS and popular state management libraries (such as Redux or MobX).
  • Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms (e.g., JSON Web Token).
  • Proficiency with front-end build tools and modern development pipelines (Babel, Webpack, NPM).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms. 
  • Development experience in Java 8 or above, labda functions and related technologies. 
  • Experience developing microservices architecture, and good understanding of distributed concepts, common design principles, design patterns and cloud concepts. 
  • Experience working with Relational Database and writing complex OLAP, OLTP and SQL queries. 
  • Building tools and CI/CD tools to automate code pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Concord, Maven, and Gradle). 
  • Experience  in containerization tools like Docker, Helm, Kubernetes. 
  • Prior exposure to public cloud platforms like Azure, GCP etc. will be an added advantage.
