Franklin Templeton’s Global ETF Business Management team is responsible for ensuring the Global ETF business operates efficiently and effectively, meets its strategic objectives, and remains positioned to grow in a competitive market.
Strategic planning, forecasting, and decision making.
Overseeing and directing resources to effectively implement plans and pursue strategic objectives.
Optimize business processes and promote profitable growth while working to actively mitigate regulatory and other business risks.
Monitoring and evaluating progress towards goals and leading necessary adjustments where needed.
Continuously seeking improvement to processes and services through innovation and adaptation.
We are seeking a Global ETF Business Strategy and Data Enablement Director to join our growing team and work directly with Global ETF leadership to develop best-in-class processes at scale to support AUM growth over time. Business process modelling, financial analysis, consulting and a keen interest in technology platforms are desirable skills.
Understanding Franklin Templeton’s product offerings, sales processes (retail and institutional), possessing client-first focus and strong influencing will be essential skills.
Partner across the broader Franklin Templeton organization to develop and implement critical business processes to:
Develop a deep understanding of the Global ETF business and clients through analytics and research to redefine the metrics to help establish our business model of the future
Monitor latest trends in client/sales analytics including analytics tools, best practices and methodologies, and enabling technologies
Develop business processes for the ETF Specialist Teams across all regions that minimize manual work, reduce friction and maximize the use of technology platforms and data.
Influence our technology partners and application owners to ensure that the technology solutions reflect our best-in-class business processes including the implementation and adaptation of artificial intelligence.
Oversee a wide range of client/sales analytics activities to inform, for example, territory planning, funnel management, client journey optimization, product/proposition development, and campaign effectiveness, to name a few.
Build data-driven sales and marketing practices enabled by prescriptive modeling to target and serve clients based on their needs and preferences
Collaborate and align with global distribution teams to improve reporting, communication, and global implementation of sales enablement processes, tools and data sources.
Bachelor’s degree required with experience in finance and/or technology
Strong understanding of Franklin Templeton sales processes, product suite and/or technology platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to effectively convey ideas and strategies to a broad range of stakeholders is critical
Highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment
Intellectual curiosity with respect to Finance, Technology, Data and/or AI
Self-driven with ability to manage key internal and external relationships at all levels of the organization
Strong listening and critical-thinking skills and an ability to quickly diagnose a problem and devise creative business and technology solutions
Comfortable working in ambiguous situations where the right outcomes are not obvious

Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to be $140,000 - $160,000.
