Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Merchandising Operations to join our dynamic team at Walmart. This leadership role is pivotal in leading the execution of multiple business plans and projects, developing, prioritizing, and executing key business strategies, managing projects, managing the development of associates, and ensuring business needs are being met.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the Execution of Multiple Business Plans and Projects, identify customer and operational needs, develop and communicate business plans and priorities, remove barriers and obstacles that impact performance.
  • Develop, Prioritize, and Execute Key Business Strategies, manage cross-functional initiatives that impact store and corporate processes, develop merchandising programs and initiatives, customer and company communications, and associate training content.
  • Manage Projects, build project plans, assign projects and tasks to associates, schedule projects, determine project scope, develop scorecards and metrics.
  • Manage the Development of Associates, provide training and support, monitor associates growth, share key learning, provide feedback and coaching on performance.
  • Ensure Business Needs are Being Met, evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives, consult with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders.

You'll Make an Impact By:

  • Providing Insight to Senior Management and Other Business Partners on key issues and opportunities to drive the business, translate merchandise strategies for assigned departments into executable programs for store operations.
  • Providing Supervision and Development Opportunities for Associates, select and train, mentor, assign duties, build a team-based work environment, establish performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Promoting and Supporting Company Policies, Procedures, Mission, Values, and Standards of Ethics and Integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application, ensure compliance with them.
  • Participating in and Supporting Community Outreach Events, solicit, evaluate, and apply suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Merchandising, or related field and 4 years’ experience in business management, merchandising, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in business management, merchandising, or related area.
