The Gogo Business Aviation Supply Chain Program Manager will lead new hardware product launch phases on time, with high quality and with customer satisfaction focus. The SCPM role is pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Gogo’s products into operations.

How will you make a difference?

  • Primarily responsible for new product realization (Transform HW designs into actual prototype products and then scale to volume manufacturing). Ensure that the new products are built and delivered on time to internal and external customers. A candidate can expect to:
  • Develop detailed Gantt Charts, program action lists, presentations, risk registers to track and deliver the new products on time and mitigate issues
  • Manage material planning and other prod ops deliverables for each phase gate in NPI process
  • Be the focal point for Prod Ops/supply chain for all assigned new products, projects.
  • Collaborate extensively with internal stake holders to get commitments, resources to launch products on time
  • Conduct regular meetings with suppliers, hardware engineers, buyers, planner, and production teams to establish and monitor delivery dates, ship dates, capacity plan, ramp plans to support product launch
  • Interface with sales and FP&A to understand volume production demand and prepare for scale
  • Partner with engineering to identify preliminary critical parts, long-lead parts and inspection requirements and communicate to buyers
  • Synthesize and report program status regularly. Prepare and update schedules and resources, budgets, status
  • Review and process ECOs for new products and existing products revisions. This includes end of Life material management to ensure smooth sunsetting of products
  • Prepare and complete phase gate checklists (such as for Manufacturing readiness checklist), facilitate reviews and release Program documents thru PLM system
  • Support obtaining regulatory approvals for new products such as HTS codes, RoHS labels from suppliers/outside consultants
  • Work on new supplier contracts for NPI

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, (Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, Mechanical, RF)/product design/ operations management or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Program/Project Management, creating detailed Gantt Charts, schedules, milestones, critical paths is a MUST. PMP certification preferred
  • Travel required: 10% per year

Required Skills, Talents & Experience

  • Demonstrated supplier management experience in a technology field (electronics, medical, electrical, communications, telecom, aerospace sectors)
  • Familiar with change order/change request processing in a matrix environment
  • A proven cross-functional collaborator who has demonstrated the ability to facilitate problem solving sessions across the organization, having good knowledge of the following operational areas: HW product sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing or engineering, demand/supply planning
  • Ability to develop partnerships with suppliers, internal stakeholders

Equal Pay Disclosure(s)

Base Pay:

92,000.00 - 115,000.00 USD Annual

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
