SWIVEL is seeking a talented individual to provide technical support and assistance in the creation and modification of the divisions’ applications by working with internal business stakeholders (senior management and system users), external Financial Institutions, and IT personnel.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Analyzes and diagnoses reported issues produced by software applications and users and recommends viable solutions or workarounds.

  • Fulfills our service level agreement (SLA) with our clients and internal stakeholders by identifying root-cause issues and providing solutions for them to fully utilize our software products.

  • Tests post application software updates and launches.

  • Ensures compliance with industry regulators and certification requirements.

  • Provides data and application expertise for projects and key initiatives.

  • Collaborates with multiple departments/functional areas to effectively and efficiently provide customer service and achieve the desired outcomes.

  • Responds to frequent and potentially complex questions from end users in a timely, positive, and professional manner. Respectfully addresses situations and communicates decisions to ensure customer concerns or needs are met.

  • Researches, understands, and communicates the impacts of application changes.

  • Implements and monitors standards and best practices that will streamline workflows and maintenance within the applications supported.

  • Determines operational objectives by analyzing business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.

  • Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.

  • Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation.

  • Assists client support and trains end-users.

  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a business application analyst, customer support, or related role, preferably in a web-based environment.

  • Experience in Financial Services industry, preferably Card/ACH payments.

  • Working knowledge of project life cycle and project management methodologies.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiating, and presentation skills.

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong time management skills and willingness to take responsibilities for meeting goals, objectives and project deadlines.

  • Able to effectively write and present business correspondence, findings and procedures.

  • Able to sit for long periods of time researching issues, executing, validating, and/or implementing software applications.
