This individual will own developing and streamlining reporting functions for the Sales Operations team. The Sales Operations Senior Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert to the business for reporting tools like Power BI, while providing operations support to sales leadership. This individual will improve cross-functional processes and provide ongoing data-driven recommendations to maximize efficiency and execution.
What you will do:
Own and share monthly and annual sales award reporting to track to performance and eligibility with sales leadership.
Partner with Sales Ops Leaders, Global Process Governance (GPG), Run Team and other departments affected by business processes.
Act as business partner to salesforce to provide support including ad hoc requests, trainings, & reporting/compensation related inquiries.
Own updates or corrections to sales territories, customer account assignments and sales quotas.
Partner with GPG and other business counterparts to support salesforce/business needs by identifying areas of improvement and delivering creative solutions that achieve the business’ goals for sales and finance.
Engages with senior leaders including VPs and Directors and be able to clearly articulate the complexities of orders reporting compared to financial reporting.
High level of understanding of sales reporting tools, including Power Bi Reports and sales dashboards
Represent as the subject matter expert of SAPC and Athena, including sales dash dataflows & system’s logic
Drive test scripts and participates in UAT, user experience testing, and all projects
Act as a role model to the department and organization for your work ethic, integrity, and team approach
Drive continuous improvement in the development, modification and adjustment of procedures, policies, processes and technologies with the Sales Operations function
Completes journal entries, reconciliations & month end reporting in a timely manner while compliance with GAAP
Qualifications & experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in related field.
2+ years of Accounting/Finance/Data Analytics or relevant experience required.
Advanced Excel experience required.
