Welcome! Micron Technology Development has an opening for NAND Yield Analysis (YA) Engineer Lead. We are looking for candidate that is passionate to innovate in data analytics, and curious to ask "what, how and why"? In this role you will be responsible for providing key feedback and direction on yield improvement activity for NAND memory technology! This role requires a high degree of collaboration across virtually all company functions, up to and including the Executive level.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead team of engineers driving issue understanding to advance new NAND part performance
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to accelerate product to market timeline by applying device physics/semiconductor process knowledge to develop end of line device performance prediction.
  • Publish Pareto to provide direction and priorities of process improvement actions needed for probe yield optimization and product qualification
  • Collaborate with global YE team to develop new techniques and identify creative and innovative ways to use existing analysis tools in order to identify relevant process issues.
  • Build a continuous improvement culture and create effective best known methodologies sharing forums!
  • Conduct performance management by creating individual performance targets that have line of sight to department goal and tracking leading indicators
  • Maintain efficient and effective allocation of resources to ensure optimal performance of the team

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams to successful resolution of complex problems.
  • Proficient data analysis, and statistical techniques skills.
  • Ability to lead by example in demonstrating Micron values and leadership competencies
  • Consistent record to lead successful projects while mentoring, coaching, and effectively developing other engineers
  • The ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced, work environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal direction
  • Good understanding of semiconductor processing

Experience:

Minimum experience is a Senior Engineer or Engineer Supervisor with at least 3 years-experience in semiconductor.

Education:

Master's or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of industry related experience; in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or related field.
