Overview

We are looking for a VP of Product Management to own our Document Verification (DocV) solution. Our DocV solution enables us to provide a hyper-accurate, comprehensive view on the identity at onboarding. As the product leader, you will be a key driver in the successful build, improvement and commercialization of one of Socure’s most critical solutions. 

The VP of Product Management is responsible for product evangelism, adoption, revenue growth and profit goals. This  leader will define the product’s features and functionality, market strategy, value propositions, and go-to-market approach, as well as drive the strategic vision internally and externally. In addition, this person will be responsible for building a world-class product team in support of this exciting initiative.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Scale the Products Go-to-Market: define and implement a roadmap by reviewing product packaging, expanding in existing markets and customers and international review.

  • Strategic Positioning: To have a strong strategic perspective on DocV market, competitive analysis and develop a longer term plan for product innovation strategy to execute upon. 

  • Platform scalability: think about the platform from a business and technical end-to-end perspective by researching and implementing solutions to modernize and improve the platform in an innovative way driving easier and faster adoption of services. 

  • Collaborate the Chief Product Officer on an annual operating budget for DocV, including resourcing and capital needs to support projected growth targets.

  • Interact with executives and senior leadership on a regular basis in a consultative and/or advising role on matters of significance.

  • Work closely with GTM teams to devise business models, product features, partner selection, value propositions, value based pricing, positioning and market communications.

  • Develop appropriate processes to gather, analyze and communicate competitive intelligence, legal and regulatory changes, and other issues impacting the Product.

  • Own and guide strategy development, mitigate competitive risk, and educate the company on marketplace dynamics.

  • Manage the Product development Lifecycle, including developing the roadmap and enhancements to capitalize on the business opportunities and compete effectively in the market

  • Be the point of accountability for Computer Vision, Engineering, Data Science, Growth, Sales, and Compliance.

  • Lead & coach (and continue building) an exceptional, customer-focused, market-oriented, high-performing team to successfully meet business objectives.

  • Build executive relationships with major clients, prospects and partners in the industry to produce first adopters.

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems is required; Masters is a plus.

  • 12+ years of relevant Product or Engineering management and leadership experience.

  • Prior experience working on computer vision and/or machine-learning driven technology is ideal.

  • Proven track record of building and enabling high-performance, process-driven Product and engineering teams.

  • Experience managing distributed agile engineering in a fully remote environment; management of global engineering teams and agile scrum master experience is a plus.

  • Project management experience (PMP certification is a plus); projects involving collaboration between data science and software development engineers is a plus.

  • Intellectual curiosity and desire for optimization

  • Effective communicator capable of explaining concepts clearly and credibly across all levels of the organization.

  • Hands on approach balanced with big picture understanding – can transition quickly from tactical to strategic.

  • Strong team player, results oriented, metrics driven and capable of working in a fast paced, changing environment.

  • Penchant for clear, concise, and impactful communication to either technical or business audiences.

  • Knack for storytelling and influencing, balanced by attention to detail and ability to communicate conceptually-sound, omni-directional company visions.

This role allows you to be based remotely across the US.
