Summary:

In this role, you will focus on optimizing program utilization with current providers, promoting the Food and Nutrition program to attract new clients, and identifying key value propositions to establish a competitive edge for the program in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess providers current food program utilization and identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Provide or participate in business reviews for key members and IDNs.
  • Assist the sales team in a support role to secure new business and manage existing business.
  • Market the Food Program for new business development.
  • Support the Implementation team on food program conversions during new member onboarding.
  • Support contracting team by providing market insights and elevating contract utilization.  
  • Facilitate training internally and externally on food program, processes and resources available.
  • Participate in the development of program communication tools such as presentations, brochures and tools.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the industry and market dynamics.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in nutrition or food systems management preferred. RDN is a plus.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience in healthcare food service required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of excel, word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Flexible, action-oriented team player with ability to take initiative and manage against tight timelines.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $127,600.00.
